Sarah Jean Benvenuti is a writer, musician, storyteller, professor, and creative entrepreneur. She is the Founder and CEO of Benvenuti Arts, a consulting firm that provides fundraising and administrative services to small and mighty arts organizations across the United States. She is also an adjunct professor for two Master of Arts Management Programs - at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA, and the Università di Bologna in Italy - as well as for Westmoreland County Community College.
Sarah is a cofounder of the roving artists colony, the Wandering Theatre Collective, which is a group of digital nomads who gather to create together for a month in different locations around the world. She is also one half of the cover band, Semester at Sea on the Gateway Clipper.
Sarah’s arts management writing can be found on the Benvenuti Arts blog and she has been published in the online flash fiction literary magazine, Short Beasts, and The Atlas of Gratitude and Delight by Write Pittsburgh. She is currently working on a fantasy novel.
While based in Pittsburgh, Sarah has been nomadic for over a decade and can be found frequently in Bologna, Italy and Inverness, Scotland.
